We were three sophomores, one folding table, and a tray of slightly burnt cookies.
That first Friday outside the football game, we raised $212 and gave every cent to the food bank. The cookies got better. The idea never changed: young people can fund real justice work with nothing more than an oven and some nerve.

Three rules we never break.
Full accounting
Every dollar in and out is published in our monthly ledger. 100% of proceeds donated — ingredients are covered by sponsors, so your $4 is really $4.
Made by hand
No wholesale trays, no shortcuts. Students bake everything in inspected community kitchens, and it tastes like it.
Justice is local
We fund organizations within 30 miles of our chapters. You can visit every shelf we help stock.

From card table to county award.
The first folding table
Three sophomores, one tray of chocolate chip cookies, and a cardboard sign outside the Friday football game. We raised $212 and donated every cent to Harvest Table Food Bank.
We become official
Registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Two more schools asked to start chapters, and the answer was obviously yes.
10,000 cookies
Crossed ten thousand treats sold. Added education and shelter partners so buyers could see exactly where each dollar goes.
$25k and a legal aid fund
Passed $25,000 in lifetime donations and opened our fourth cause area: legal aid, because justice shouldn't depend on what you can pay.
Six chapters strong
Six schools, 87 student volunteers, and the county's Youth Organization of the Year award (the trophy lives next to the stand mixer).
The $75k year
This year's goal: $75,000 lifetime donated. At two meals per dollar, that's a number worth preheating for.
